The first page of Google results for search terms related to your brand or business leadership can be make or break for your bottom line. When someone first hears about a business or a product, what is the first thing they do? Pull out their phone and start Googling. They will then make a snap judgement within the first 5 seconds of viewing the search results, often before they even scroll to the second page of results. If that judgement is negative, the buyer journey could end right there. One controversial media article, a couple of bad reviews, or simply a low-res lead image on your Google Business profile could scupper any chance of a future purchase. We work with our clients to firstly identify all potential risks to their digital profile through reputation audits. Then, using that information, we develop threat mitigation techniques that combine SEO, digital PR, traditional PR, issues management and review generation to ensure that our clients are presenting themselves in the best possible way online. This talk will cover this process in depth and explore how the changing Google landscape is putting more emphasis on companies to build third-party trust signals both for their brand and leadership.
