Workshop Summary

If you were to ask all of the staff in your company what your brand values are, how confident are you that every single person will come back with the same answer? And if everyone who works for the company isn’t sure, then how do you expect your customers to know?

In this talk, we will explore the importance of understanding not only what you do as a business and brand but most importantly, who you are. Whether you work in a B2C or B2B business your customers are ultimately people, and people buy into emotion. They want to feel that they know the type of brand they’re buying from or engaging with, and feel aligned with its personality.

This knowledge of yourself, also comes into play when we start to think about how you attract and retain staff. The term ‘Employer Brand’ is becoming ever more prominent because candidates are more inclined to want to work for a business who are very clear in their positioning, goals and how that relates to their staff.

Once you are clear in your brand strategy and positioning (‘knowing me!’) then you will be able to better communicate to your audience of customers and candidates in a more consistent and genuine way (‘knowing you!’)*
